In airborne applications, real-time data transmission channels are provided by ARINC429bus transmission system to apparatus that support ARINC429bus agreement. In this thesis, a device capable of data communication transparently is presented, which provides four-channel signal receiving and two-channel signal transmission of ARINC429. Also achieved by this device is transparent transmission between ARINC429bus and asynchronous serial port.At first, the background of ARINC429bus transmission system is introduced. Orienated at design of ARINC429transmission system, an elaborate analysis and comparison have been made noto several schemes. FPGA is adopted as primary technique in achieving all fundamental logic of an ARINC429transfer, which, in turn, is the key of an ARINC429bus transmission system.Secondly, a general description of our design of the system, its constructions and features are all introduced, in the wake of which, the crucial techniques and its details are elaborated upon apropos of hardware and software design. Finally introduced is the approaches to improving the reliability of the system and the experience in debugging as well as the result of debugging.In this design, VHDL hardware description language programming is utilized for software therein, and the modules of FPGA microchip are under design and development. All modules are verified through simulation, and key VHDL language description and the result of simulation of verification are furnished.It has been verified that this design can be used in the ARINC429bus communication system on the ground. After improving by industry design, anti-vibration devices and additional screening, it can be applied in the actual aviation engineering as well.
