With the rapid development of computer and networkcommunication technology, the requirements for personnel training areincreasing. To meet the needs of the social development, more andmore schools build campus networks, combining Internet and theircampus networks. This thesis takes a vocational school as anexample to analyze the construction process of a campus network.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the demand of construction of campusnetwork, design of the system architecture and network topologystructure.Secondly, this thesis specifically analyzes and carries out thewhole campus network. This stage is implemented by4steps:Step1:Through specifically analyzing the function and impact ofthe virtual local area network (VLAN) technology, this thesis plans anddesigns the VLAN and its relevant IP address, default gateway and soon of the campus network according to the functional requirement,which efficiently solves the broadcast storm problem inside the campus,and summarizes the process of the establishment and layout of VLAN.Step2:Through analyzing the function of each layer of thethree-layer switching technology and the key technologies of portbinding and port trunking of STP, SVI, ACL, IP+MAC+and so on, thisthesis specifically allocates the relevant equipments, and achievesunified construction and management of the network interconnectionamong the core layer, collective layer andaccess layer and theequipments inside the campus network.Step3:Through the aspects of port mirroring, anti-ARP attack,anti-DoS/DDoS attack and IP scanning attack and so on, this thesispresents the safety precaution technology and its implement processinside the campus network in details, which can prevent the internalnetwork from being attacked which may lead to slow-down of the internet speed and even breakdown of the internet of the campusnetwork, safeguarding the safe operation of the campus network.Step4:For the block of the exit of the WAN at fastigium of theinternet which cause the users not able to visit external networks asusual, this design adopts the MSTP+VRRP protocol configurationtechnology and double gateway distributary design proposal to analyzeand allocate the gate of the campus network for completing theplanning, design and implementation of the whole campus network,ensuring that the users inside the campus can surf the internet stablywand uninterruptedly.This thesis refers to and compares the construction andnetworking form of many campus networks. The aspects mainly takeninto consideration in the process of planning and programming includethe maturity, standardization and safety of the existing networktechnologies. For this, we propose the construction mode based on theVLAN and three-layer switching technic, which can solve networksafety problems including the broadcast storm, ARP spoofing, IPscanning attack and so on that may appear in the construction of thecampus network and better satisfy the demand of network of thiscampus.After the campus network is finished according to the abovementioned plan, it has been operating stably with fine performance.The technologies it adopts has a certain reference value for theconstruction of middle and small-size campus network.
