Research And Implementation Of User Group With Instant Communication Function In Saas Management Platform

With the development of Internet information technology, more and more SNS(Social Networking Services) applications have appeared in recent years. The behavior of Internet users also changes from simply browsing web pages to communicating with the web or other users. A lot of user groups-we could call them "circle" as well-formed in social network. The most important feature of a circle is interaction. This paper did some research on how to implement configurable user group with IM(Instant Message) function in SaaS management platform. It supports real time and non-real time interaction among circle users, which makes the SaaS management platform more competitive.Research of this paper is based on a SaaS management platform (HiService). The implementation plan is brought out through the research on SaaS, user groups, IM tools and the demand of configurable user group.with IM function. Major achievements are as follows:1. First is the design and implementation of the configurable circle system. Because of the multi-tenancy characteristic of the SaaS management platform, every tenancy could do configuration according to its needs.2. Second is the design and implementation of an IM tool based on WebSocket protocol, using Node.js as the server.3. The third step is the integration of the two modules above. Then it is a complete system, and it supports the compatibility of different browsers.4. The forth step is to test the function and performance of the whole system and the efficiency of Node.js and WebSocket. The last but not least, in order to support generality, this paper has designed a "plug and use" module of IM tool based on web service, and has done some research on the integration among modules.
