Research On WLAN Network Construction Scheme For Campus Environment

With the development of WLAN technology and increasing demand of mobile application, it isa trend to apply wireless access network and support new type of wireless information service in thecampus. In the campus, WLAN network can not only meet the demand of campus itself, but also bethe effectively complement to the3G wireless cellular network and fixed line broadband. It ishelpful to the business integration and the diversion of3G internet access, thereby improving userbusiness awareness and improving the service level and the QoS (quality of service) of campusnetwork.WLAN technology has the advantages of convenient installation, easy to extend and cost saving.Currently, there are many places that the wired networks can’t reach to, such as classrooms, library,basketball courts in the camps. The application of WLAN will greatly extend the network radiusand make it really penetrate into every corner of the campus. Contrast with other areas, campuswireless network structure is more complex. Therefore, this thesis will revolve around thecharacteristics of the campus environment, study its network architecture and construction scheme,analyzes some problems of the construction of campus wireless network. The main aspect includes:First, the thesis will introduce the basic concept and the characteristics of WLAN. Then, it willpresent the significance and advantages of the development of the campus wireless network.Secondly, based on the campus network covers characteristics, this thesis will analyze therequirements and design principle of campus wireless network.Finally, according to the campus environment characteristics and in conjunction with theproblems in the practical work, the thesis will propose a novel campus wireless network constructscheme base on the intelligent technique.
