The Research Of DLP Technology Under Embedded System

In recent years, Digital Light Procession technology widely used in the areas such as Industrial Field, Health Care System and Car Multimedia in foreign countries, and domestic research and application of the DLP are less. Facing the future development trend of miniaturization, portable digital projection system, this thesis has focused on the DLP technology research based on embedded system, and realized the DLP projection function under Linux kernel, the specific research work are as follows:1. Through the literature research, the domestic market of DLP products are mainly concentrated in two aspects of television and projector, but the core components are all from foreign manufacturers, and various universities and research institutes for DLP technology’s research also stays in the drive circuit based on MCU, this thesis studies the DLP technology based on ARM platform, and the solution was given.2. Project startup was two years ago, TI only provided the driver of DLP technology under the Windows operating system, this thesis shows an independent research based on mobile terminal general operating system under the Linux kernel, given the development plan and implemented its projection function.3. This thesis mainly has focused on the DLP, the demonstration and design of the hardware platform has realized under the Linux kernel driver transplant, and given priority to with S3C6410based on ARM chip development board and2.6.24Linux kernel version of Ubuntu operating system, the actual verification.This article has focused on the DLP technology development and design, the hardware platform can meet the original design index and parameter, and embedded development board can be stable operation after the connection, under Linux kernel based operating system can realize the projection function.The platform can be applied to study of DLP technology and support functions of further development, for subsequent micro projection technology more deeply research on the stage, for subsequent special in miniaturization, portable handset research laid the foundation.
