| Author submission and peer review have been two important links of Chinese University Journals Publishing work. The submission and reviewing in the Journal of Hechi University still remain at the E-mail stage, this operating mode needs for artificial registration, classification and numbering, which are not easy to manage and query. And all the articles store on a public service platform, which is a kind of unsafe mode. The gradually transition of Journal publishing activities to a special editorial system is the current development trend. In view of the characteristics of Hechi University Journal and its actual demand, this article designs and implements a submission and peer review system to assist journals publishing work.This thesis gives the feasibility analysis of Hechi University Journal manuscript submission and review system, and briefly analyzes the current popular LAMP structure, then introduces LINUX, APACHE, MySQL and PHP technology and applications. Through research and analysis, the Hechi University Journal adopts the PHP5 and relevant implementation technology and the Eclipse for development tools to complete the submission and reviewing system framework. This thesis analyzes functional requirements analysis and non-functional requirements of the Journal of Hechi University in the submission and review system, using software engineering method of modularization, the division of the whole function of system design and the function of each module, and designs the database conceptual model and physical model of each data table. In PHP5 environment, the model designs and implements the account management module, the author’s management module, manuscript management module, management module and system function modules such as function modules. Setting the commissioning and testing platform, the various functions and compatibility of the system are tested in detail, commissioning and testing results show that the system operation is safe and reliable, with good expansibility and maintainability, practicability and operability, better realizes the design expectations.Hechi University Journal submission and peer review system is in the process of design and implementation. The system analyzes and combines the actual characteristics of the Journal, considering the objective limitations of the authors, readers, editors, and then solves the problem. Putting the system into operation will build an efficient working platform, which is a significant improvement in the process of the journal publishing "timing" and "transparency", so as to enhance the vitality and the purpose of the academic level of journals. The system will have a good application prospect. |
