Spare parts are materials which enterprises must be maintained to achieve customer service commitment, are critical resources in service supply chain. Characteristics of service parts logistics are high inventory cost, low demand rate and random demand distribution, which requires reasonable service spare parts logistics network. Service Parts Logistics Network affected customers satisfaction degree and the success of products, lateral transshipment added a new option to service parts logistics network。Based on the review of research in these two areas, we investigated service parts logistics network design problem considering lateral transshipment, including no transshipment, unidirectional transshipment, bidirectional transshipment,mixed transshipment and support warehouse, designed 14 single-echelon and two-echelon service parts logistics network. Each location in the system faces independent Poisson distribution demand and meets the service level constraints, adopts continuous review (S-1, S) policy. We design discrete event simulation for each logistics network design, and we propose a calculation method of time-based service levels. For each logistics network design, we design 48 set of experiments by changing system parameters such as demand rate, lead time, holding cost, ordering cost, transshipment cost and service level constraint, calculating the cumulative frequency, the average total cost and average inventory level per inventory point per unit simulation time of each design. Finally, based on birth and death processes, queuing theory and approximate calculation we design mathematical models for single and two service parts logistics network and design a optimization algorithm. On this basis, we construct various combinations of parameter setting examples, and analyse the performance of the algorithm by comparing the approximate optimization results with Arena simulation optimization results.
