Research On Competitive Technology Intelligence Service Mode Of University Library

Along with technology innovation plays a more and more important role in the process of enterprise development, Demand for competitive technical intelligence of enterprise is increasing. University libraries have been one important department to provide information services for the enterprises. This paper constructs a mode for University Library to provide efficiency CTI services for enterprise based on theoretical research and investigation.Based on domestic and international research on CTI development theory, this article investigated the needs of CTI service in the enterprises and the condition of university library CTI service through the way of questionnaire. By enterprise research, the paper try to know the status of construction sector, the demand of technical intelligence and the intelligence staff skills to master in enterprises, willingness to collaborate with the library, and get the revelation for university library. Through investigation and research in colleges and universities, this paper try to verify that the university library should solve three problems to provide information service which is information service marketing, characteristic database construction, and faculty experts join to the CTI service and analyze the influence factors to the model that university libraries provide CTI service. At last, this paper analyzes the feasibility of university libraries to provide information service.Combined with the research results, the paper build the university library CTI service mode. The mode is built in accordance with the principle of pertinence, coordination and win-win. The structure of the model framework is divided into strategic planning, foundation support layer, the operational layer and target layer, and the factors in every layer are expounded. The paper introduces process elements of the mode and the implementation of the basic flow on the basis of the herring model. The basic elements of the process including experts, intelligence analysts, characteristic database, marketing team and technology information transfer platform. This paper discusses the process matters needing attention.Finally the article taking the library of Nanjing university of aeronautics and astronautics and Jiangsu university library as example to do empirical research. By empirical research, the paper find the problems in CTI service of the library of Nanjing university of aeronautics and astronautics and the revelation from the characteristics of the CTI service of Jiangsu university library.
