With the continuous development of integrated circuit technology, design idea and communication mode of smart card and its interface device have been improved in order to meet the needs of users. This paper describes in detail the solution of a Bluetooth card reader based on a domestic 32-bit security SOC chip, including the function realization of the card reader and of the Bluetooth serial transmission. This design breaks the traditional communication mode of a card reader(serial port, USB) to change the uplink terminal for the Bluetooth, and finally realizes the communication function of the Bluetooth reader. This design uses CC2541 low power single-mode Bluetooth SOC chip of Texas Instruments to realize of the Bluetooth serial transmission. The chip supports Bluetooth 4.0 standard, not compatible with conventional Bluetooth, and has built a complete SOC solutions. And the chip not only can simplify the design flow to the utmost extent, but also can constantly verify and modify the design during the whole design process. To ensure the correctness of the whole design, code of the card reader and Bluetooth transmission are developed and debugged at the same time. At last, the final completion of mobile phone terminal test shows that the design can meet the needs of users. The innovative points of the design are as follows:The design with Bluetooth achieves the interconnection between the card reader and the mobile phone and realizes the minimum system of the card reader, completing the information interaction with financial IC internet terminal through the mobile phone platform and realizing online payment and account inquiries. The design uses the TI low power single-mode Bluetooth chip supporting Bluetooth 4.0 standard, whose overall architecture unchanged compared to the classic Bluetooth and high speed Bluetooth (3.0). The design only uses a link layer to complete the super low power standby mode, whose power consumption has reduced 90 percent, compared to traditional Bluetooth. And serial transmission Demo achieves master-slave integration, namely one project can realize the master and slave function. It is very convenient to use that users only need to send a fixed AT instructions, completeing the advertising, scaning, and connection.
