Because of the very rapidly developing of robot welding market, the prospect market of torch clean station is also very wide. The goal of research new type of torch clean station is to develop a new generate torch clean station with high efficency, clean, endurable life time and multifunction characters. The previous achievements and development of these enterprises in the world were summaried design and research the new, functional and endurable torch clean station. The main field for this researching is about in veicle industries.In inspect of mechanical structure design, the power structure of Torch Clean Station is vane pneumatic motor, clamp device is V shape block which is adjustable. The wire cutter chooses lever clipper type, the cylinder for this structure must be design for a special one. Anti-spatter liquid spray unit is triggered by a mechanical valve, the sprayer is a special one for Venturi. Focus on the three parts mentioned before, the design is carried out in Torch Clean Station mechanical structure. In the design of mechanical structure, there claim some innovative points, including:new type of reamer, both sides of cutter blade, lever clipper, special cutter cylinder and new type of anti-spatter liquid nozzle. Regarding to the action process of Tor Clean Station, the design goal is for vehicle industries application, so the working rhythm was considered, more emphasize the efficiency. To limit the occupying of IO signals of robot, this design chooses the most simple plan of signal inputted. To trigger the Torch Clean Station only use one input signal and then the whole working flow torch clean, wire cutting and anti-spatter spray is completed. The pneumatic circuit and electrical circuit are also design depending on the upwards working flow and signal requirements.During the real application experiment of new design Torch Clean Station, torch cleaning, anti-spatter liquid spray and wire cutting all meet the design destiny. Firstly, the adhesion of spatter is very low, that proves the anti-spatter liquid was spray uniform and effective; secondly, the spatter around the torch nozzle was cleaned completely, that proves the torch clean structure works well; after wire cutting, the end of the wire cut is organized and uniform, no bent, it meets the requirement of robot TCP.During the design and develop of Torch Clean Station, to summarize some knowledge of machine, pneumatic and electric parts and input/output signal of automatic control, it is a good support for robot welding system’s efficiently and stable working. |
