Research Of The Relationship Between Technological Innovation And Market Demand

Since technological innovation is an increasingly important role in economic development, more and more research for technological innovation is done. This paper summarizes the theory of interaction between technology and market, and proposed that the division of interactive mode should be based on the different characteristics of different industries.On the basis of the idea above, the four aspects study are as following:1. Establishing criteria which classify technological innovation and market demand interaction model, the criteria appears as a formula, and is based on industry-specific.2. According to the discriminate formula above, the technology and market interaction model, to make an wide range division from agriculture in the first industry, industry and construction in the second industry, and services in the third industry.3. From an empirical point of view, to judge the technological innovation and market demand mode of the various industries in the statistical significance through the method of Granger causality test. The conclusions show that the result of the pattern of judgment from an empirical point of view is as same as the formula founded above in this paper. Thus, it verifies the credibility of the founded formula.4. Selecting typical representative industries both from the market-driven mode and the technology-driven market model to make case studies which can reveal the different industry technology and markets interaction deeply.This paper has important practical guiding significance for the Government in promotion of technological innovation, for it makes an analysis from the interaction model of the difference between technology and market in variety industries. For the industry that market demand to promote technological innovation, the Government should give the enterprise a full space of independent innovation, to take to encourage innovation policy, rather than directly leading technology innovation. For those technical innovation-driven market demand industry, the companies cannot become effective subject of the technological innovation, the Government should assume the responsibility of the technological innovation, which can be directly set up the Institute of technological innovation, or can also be led by the Government, joint colleges and universities for technology innovation.
