Research On Financial Integration In The Yangtze River Delta

The development of the Yangtze River Delta economic integration has already reached a certain stage. Financial integration in the Yangtze River Delta is the necessary requirement of the economic integration, and can promote regional economic to a new level. The promotion of the Yangtze Delta financial integration, to supporting the implementation of the regional economic development strategy, is an important subject of practical significance.Tightly around the financial integration issue in the Yangtze River Delta, this paper is based on three aspects:the condition, the measure of the degree of financial integration, and the way of realization from the view of financial geography. On this basis, this paper analyzes the qualifications that the Yangtze Delta has already achieved. After the qualitative inspection of current situation on financial development and financial integration in Yangtze Delta, further by the empirical analysis, this paper uses the means of the saving-investment correlation analysis to measure the capital flow situation in the Yangtze Delta which concludes that financial integration is not so good. On the basis of the status of regional financial development and financial integration, this paper comes up with the initial ideas of the construction and improvement of the Yangtze Delta financial regional system, combined with the construction of Shanghai into an international financial center. In conclusion, this paper proposes referential policy suggestions so as to finally form a perfect financial support that can guide the regional economic development, and promote harmonious development of regional economy and finance.
