Traditional retail industry is facing a severe test, which including macro marketconstant downward, big hit on the market from electricity providers and otheremerging industry, and sales promotion mode of a single, most of them are simple andcrude price battle, resulting in most department stores profit margin has shrunkdramatically. As a veteran department store in Tianjin, Zhongyuan department storealso comes across adversity in such a bad business situation.According to the actual operation status of Zhongyuan department store, thispaper provides the relevant optimization strategy in order to enhance the awareness ofthe scientific management of Zhongyuan department store, and achieving the ultimategoal to enhance the Zhongyuan department store operating level. Zhongyuandepartment store was chosen as individual sample for the study in this paper. Thispaper described classified specific marketing operation details of the program,including the store conventional marketing channel strategy marketing, customermanagement, and service innovation, to make Zhongyuan Department Store businessphilosophy more comprehensive, innovative and accurate. The appropriate use ofmanagement statistical principle in sales forecasting and marketing cost controlmanagement aspects, comparing the cost of marketing, coupon, media advertising andthe cost of total sales by using binary linear regression to provide strong reference forscientific screening costs. Mall sales forecast was done by using managementstatistical trend and seasonal ingredient. First the moving average and the seasonalindex were obtained, second the intercept and slope of the trend line obtained by themethod of least squares and the final season sales forecast value was calculated at last.The conclusion will provide a powerful theoretical basis for Zhongyuan departmentstore making more scientific and accurate sales plan.
