This article summarizes domestic internal combustion engine partsmanufacturers’(cylinder liner, piston, piston ring, piston pin, valve, bearing etc.)product structure optimization relevant theory, mainly include products and productorganization, process flow, technology type, product structure optimization,competitive positioning, etc.This paper analyses domestic internal combustion engine‘s status,"125" internalcombustion engine industry development plan, the statue of internal combustionengine parts and competitive positioning. As the paper says, with the furtherimprovement of China’s internal combustion engine parts industry’s concentration,there are mainly two modes of competition among domestic internal combustionengine parts manufacturers: one is single-product manufacturers, the other ismulti-product manufacturers. At the same time it presents both advantages anddisadvantages of each of the two competition modes, meanwhile come up with eachmanufacturer’s future direction of product structure optimization.This paper also research internal combustion engine parts manufacturers’ productstructure optimization, mainly including analysis of internal combustion engine partsmanufacturers’ product structure relevant factors, internal combustion engine partsmanufacturers’ product structure optimization and analysis and implementation of theproduct structure optimization based on the competition.This paper focused researches Shijiazhuang Jingang Internal Combustion EngineParts Group Co, Ltd.’s product structure status and put forward product structureoptimization scheme though SWOT analysis and product competitive positioninganalysis. It should proceed as the following three aspects: firstly, make choice of thesix parts of products, and keep the core competitive friction pair motion componentproducts; secondly, expand export products market share; thirdly, increase gasolineinternal combustion engine parts product structure proportion.
