During each stage of economic development, the fixed capital stock estimation hasalways been the focus of scholars at home and abroad, although some foreign countriescan estimate the fixed capital stocks accurately, the study of the fixed capital stockestimation is still difficult in our country. From this point of view, the essay estimates thefixed capital stock based on the statistical data by combing the statistical work of Chinesecurrent status, drawing on foreign experience to estimate the fixed capital stock andanalyzing variable parameters and estimation results.Firstly, introduced the research background and the research status at home andabroad of the article, proposed the trend of research on the fixed capital stock estimation athome and abroad. Then combed the course of development of China’s research of thefixed capital stock estimation and analyzed the main problem of the estimation.Secondly, based on the perpetual inventory method popular in the international, theessay puts forward a new method to estimate Chinese fixed capital stock, and defines thescope of the fixed capital stock estimation, analyzes two parameters and two variablesrelated to the estimation of fixed capital stock in-depth.Again, problems determining the depreciation economy whole segments and rate,based at the end of a fixed capital stock of the two parameters and the amount ofinvestment in fixed capital, price indices of investment in fixed capital two variable dataare discussed in detail, on the basis of this, using the proposed method to estimate China’soverall economic segments and fixed capital stock.Finally, based on the estimated fixed capital stock and fixed capital investment data,the essay analyzes the relationship between fixed capital investment and economic growthin China.
