In recentyears, Chongqing has maintained a good momentum of economic development in themunicipality became the beginning, GDP growth rate of only about7.5%.2002breakthrough double-digit GDP growth rate reached10.5percent in2010, the growthrate of17.1%, higher than the national average growth rate of7percent, Chongqingushered in rapid economic growth phase. Meanwhile, in2011the level of scientific andtechnological progress in Chongqing comprehensive index of53.69%, ranked No.13inthe country. Compared with2010,improved2.53percentage point increase in the firstfour rows.
