As technology becomes more and more advances, the competition in the IT industrybecomes more intense. I company is the world’s largest information technology and businesssolution company. Though they have a huge customer base and advanced technology, stillcannot avoid to lose their original competitive advantage. The reason is that the marketsituation has taken place in the new technological environment. The local IT companies haveeroded the low end of the market, and entering the high-end market faster and faster. Theforeign IT companies are facing increasingly severe challenge. This article hopes to base oncustomer value theory, combined with the I company’s own characteristics, by analysis of thereason of I Company customer churn in South China, come out the preventive measures. Aswell as for other IT companies analysis of customer churn and develop improvementmeasures for reference.This paper uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, mainlythrough literature research and survey method, based on the client churn issue of the Icompany in South China,"customer value hierarchy model " as the theoretical basis, throughliterature research and survey to conduct research on the main cause of customer churnanalysis, and further proposed countermeasures.Survey data show that the main reasons for the customers churn are the price, servicesquality and the new technologies. The proposed countermeasures are the following aspects:By streamlining the organizational structure, reducing personnel costs, improve serviceefficiency to achieve lower prices and service quality improvement. By stripping low-valuebusiness, change the market repositioning, thereby eliminating price competition, and focuson high-value business. By increasing investment in new technologies, such as the publiccloud platform landing in China, to provide customers with better cloud services; Introductionopen source OS to Power Systems to reduce the costs and cut down the price, continue toprovide high-value servers for enterprise customers.
