The person-supervisor fit effectively affects the communicationbetween employee and supervisor, thereby affecting the efficiency of thestaff and organization operation. As one kind of extra-role behaviors,taking charge plays a positive role in promoting the development of theorganization. Whether from the point of theory or practice,it is significantto study the relationship between the two variables. However, there are fewresearches aiming at investigating the relationship between them.Therefore, basing on previous literature, we chose350employees andtheir immediate supervisors from22different corporations as objects andused questionnaires as research tool, in order to investigate the relationshipamong person-supervisor fit, identification with supervisor, interpersonaljustice and taking charge. Then we checked the mediator effect ofidentification with supervisor and the moderating effect of interpersonaljustice.Our research demonstrates the following results:1. The person-supervisor fit is significantly positively correlated withtaking charge.2. The person-supervisor fit is significantly positively correlated withidentification with supervisor; the identification with supervisor issignificantly positively correlated with taking charge; the identificationwith supervisor mediates the relationship between person-supervisor fitand taking charge.3. There is a significant positive correlation between person- supervisor fit and interpersonal justice; the interpersonal justice negativelymoderates the relationship between person-supervisor fit and identificationwith supervisor.Our research explored the relationship between person-supervisor fitand taking charge, and researched the mechanism of how multiple factorsaffect the relationship, enriching theoretical knowledge aboutperson-supervisor fit and taking charge. The results of our research notonly make contribution to theoretical knowledge in OrganizationalBehavior,but also provide practical references for enterprises.
