With the rapid development of economy, the development of commercialenterprises in our country also have increasingly momentum and they provideconsumers with more space and better choice of goods. The hardware conditions ofcommercial enterprise provides consumers with a satisfactory and comfortableshopping environment, but the soft power, they still have a long way to go to catchup with the international level in employees’sense and quality of service. As front-lineemployees in commercial enterprises should keep respectly,friendly attitude andshow their enthusiastic service, their work is more tedious than the other simplymental or physical laborers. Maybe the service staff haven’t realized that they have togo through the regulation of their emotions every day in order to meet therequirements of the industry. How to manage their emotions to a large extentdetermines the effect of the work, which also affects their working performance.Therefore, the study of emotional labor has important practical significance toimprove the work performance of front-line service staff and enhance the soft powerof commercial enterprises. The so-called professional commitment simply means anattitude of the staff to their job, which affects the behavior of employees attitudesand ultimately affects job performance. But until now,there is no research on thedirect relationship between job commitment and job performance. So regarding jobcommitment as the moderator to research provides the basis for future research of therelationship between job commitment and job performance.In this paper, a survey based on four commercial enterprise frontline staff samplein Zibo, Shandong,find that the dimensions of emotional labor policy and jobperformance have some correlation and significantly difference.Job commitment hassignificant influence on the dimensions of emotional labor policy and jobperformance. In this study, emotional labor strategies, work performance andoccupation commitment scale as measuring instrument, SPSS17.0as statistical tool,exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis as analytictechnique,it conducts research on emotional labor policy, job performance and jobcommitment.Specific conclusions are as follows.(1) Emotional labor policy and job performance are significantly correlated. According to the correlation analysis, two dimensions of emotional labor strategies,surface acting and job performance played a negative correlation and deep acting andtrue emotional expression plays with positive correlation with job performance.Based on regression analysis, the surface acting has a negative influence on jobperformance,and deep acting has a positive influence on the two dimensions. Realemotional expression has no significant impact on job performance.(2)Job commitment plays a positive role in regulating the relationship betweensurface acting and relationship performance. Through the analysis, occupationalcommitment can not regulate emotional labor strategies and job performance on thewhole.
