As a new generation of information technology industry, the rapid developmentof the Internet of things (IOT) industry has a far-reaching impact on the economic andsocial life.Look from abroad, the United States, European Union, Japan, South Koreaand other countries and regions take the IOT as an important weight to achieve globalcompetitive advantage;Domestically, China’s IOT industry is in the initial stage ofrapid development.Yangtze River Delta,which is the origin of IOT technologydevelopment and application in China, has been at the forefront in the development ofIOT industry.In this context, how to use the theory of industrial organization to clearthe driving force of IOT industrial organization, to optimize the market structure,toregulate market behavior and to improve market performance, has become animportant issue to be solved in China’s rapid development of the IOT industrialorganization.Based on extended SCP paradigm as the analysis framework, combining withthe theory of industrial organization and other related knowledge, under thebackground of rapid development of IOT industry, the thesis takes Yangtze river deltaregion as an example, analyzes the driving force of industrial organization, marketstructure, conduct,performance and the general relationship, puts forwardoptimization principle and optimization countermeasures, summing up the researchconclusion of this thesis and the research revelation.Firstly, define the IOT industrial organization, review the evolution of the theoryof industrial organization,analyze the principle of SCP paradigm,illustrate and modifythe applicability of IOT industrial organization in study, constructing the "M-SCP"analysis framework;Secondly,give a specific analysis about the IOT industrialdevelopment overview in world,China and the Yangtze river deltaregion,respectively;Thirdly, use the specific indicators to analyze the driving force ofIOT industrial organization,market structure, behavior and performance in YangtzeRiver Delta region in detail,and illustrate the general relationship between the four;Finally, Based on the principles of optimization, put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from various angles, and enlighten the researchconclusion and the research revelation of this thesis.The innovation and significance of this thesis lie in the use of extended"M-SCP" paradigm to analyze the initial development of the IOT industrialorganization, which not only enriches the theory of IOT industrial organizationresearch, but also has important practical significance.Reasonable development ofIOT industrial organization is beneficial to realize coordinated development amongnational level, industrial level, enterprise level,which provides important experienceto the pearl river delta, hercynian zone for reference.
