World-class manufacturingpractices to adapt to changing enterprise development in the external environment,adjust the results of the business activities and its internal organization andmanagement model. More and more manufacturers began to improve businessperformance through the application of world class manufacturing practices, inorder to achieve sustainable development. In this study,the International Manufacturing Strategy2009survey database, select the IMSS-V750manufacturing companies surveyed data, using multiple regression analysis,hierarchical regression analysis, the method of testing the mediating effect articlehypotheses. The empirical results show that:(1) the core of world-classmanufacturing practices and new world-class manufacturing practices to enhanceoperational performance are having a positive impact, but different manufacturingpractices for the operation of different performance impact varies;(2) CoreWorld-class manufacturing practices combined World-class manufacturing practicesused in business together, can improve the quality of performance, flexibility andinnovation performance compared to the performance in the core businesses only introduce world-class manufacturing practices;(3) operational performance isworld-class manufacturing practices on business performance mediating variables,which operate between the performance of the core world-class manufacturingpractices and corporate performance plays an intermediary role in part, that the coreof world-class manufacturing practices have some direct impact on businessperformance, while the core of world-class manufacturing practices on businessperformance through operational performance generating part indirect effects,operational performance between the new world-class manufacturing practices andcorporate performance plays an intermediary role completely, that is completely newworld-class manufacturing practices to drive business performance by improvingoperational performance.This paper presents the different types of world-class manufacturing practiceson business performance mechanism of action, the conclusions of this paper is thenew era requires multiple dimensions simultaneously pursue leading-edgecompanies provide recommendations to enhance the performance of our businessesprovide important ideas.
