| Urbanization is the general reflection of a country or a district in thedevelopment of social economics. It is also an important period in the process ofmodernization. With the development and progress of the economy and society inChina, urbanization has become an important task we are facing to. Since Shandongcoastal areas are the experiment plots to be opened and reformed, and Shandongprovince is regarded to be the blue economic zone, the study on the effects factorsof the urbanization and its countermeasures has both the theoretical and practicalimportance.At first, this thesis put forward the problem by describing the background andthe importance of the study, and analyzed the problem based on the review of theresults from domestic and foreign experts. Second, after explaining the meaning ofurbanization, the power of development and relevant theory, this thesis analyzed thecharacteristic of urbanization in coastal area, and the necessity of speeding up theprocess of urbanization of coastal area in Shandong province. It also summarizedthe development of urbanization process, status and influence factors through theexample of Shandong coastal areas. Upon the above basis, it sampled the data onchanges in population, economic development, industrial structure, employmentstatus, infrastructure, social security and income in Qingdao, Yantai, Weifang,Weihai, Dongying, Rizhao as the main indicators, and analyzed the data withSPSS17.0. Finally, drew the empirical research conclusions.Empirical analysis shows that economic development factors is the greatestinfluence factor for urbanization of the coastal areas in Shandong province,followed by population density and income gap whose interpretation rate hasreached81.6%to the ratio of Shandong coastal urbanization. This result verifiedthat economic and social factors are the main factors of urbanization, whichcomplied with the real situation in this area. Then this paper gave thecountermeasure to accelerate the urbanization in Shandong coastal area. First, takethe step to further adjust and optimize the industrial structure, improve the level ofeconomic development; second, change the mode in foreign trade development andenhance open economy; third, improve infrastructure and enhance the supportcapability. At the same time, continue to increase the income of urban and ruralresidents, and improve the ability to absorb residents, enhance the economic vitalityin the area. |
