Study On The Impact Of Logistics Factors On Export Trade In Coastal Areas Of China

Since the Japanese scholar professor nishizawa put forward the theory that logistics is the "third source of profit" for enterprises to create competitive advantages,the role of logistics in reducing product costs and improving product competitiveness has been gradually attached importance to by the academic circle.But the concept of logistics has a wide range of implications,there are many ways to divide logistics elements.Xu shoubo(2009)classified the division method of logistics elements into seven categories in his paper,namely,material basis division method and general element division method and so on.For papers requiring empirical study,material basis division method is generally adopted to carry out the division of logistics elements.Therefore,this paper adopts this method to divide logistics elements.The research focus of this paper is to study the impact of the development of comprehensive transport capacity of logistics factors on export growth,and whether the development of logistics factors has a positive effect on export growth in coastal areas.Coastal areas bear the majority of China's exports,which is of great significance for China's economic growth.However,due to the lack of planning for logistics construction in coastal provinces,it is difficult to play a more targeted role of logistics factors in reducing the product cost of export enterprises and promoting export growth.Therefore,this paper will find the logistics elements that have a more significant impact on export growth through the empirical part,so as to guide the construction of better planning logistics in coastal areas and give play to the role of logistics in guaranteeing export.This paper will firstly sort out relevant literature,and then analyze the current situation of logistics development and export trade in coastal areas.On this basis,qualitative analysis is made on the impact path of various logistics factors on export growth.In the final empirical part,the panel data of 11 coastal provinces from 2007 to2016 are used for regression analysis to verify the logistics factors that have more significant impact on export growth in coastal areas,and on this basis,policy suggestions are put forward.According to the empirical results,this paper puts forward the following Suggestions: first,aviation logistics is becoming the mostcritical logistics element to promote export,and the construction of aviation logistics infrastructure should be accelerated to meet the increasing demand of air freight of export enterprises;Second,inland river shipping is becoming the most important logistics element of domestic transportation in the export trade of coastal areas.The government should strengthen the planning of inland river shipping logistics construction to help export enterprises better reduce logistics costs and promote exports.Third,each coastal region should strengthen the comprehensive logistics transportation capacity according to its own characteristics,so as to reduce the transportation cost of export products and improve the export competitiveness.
