In recent years, through the combined efforts of all our people, the comprehensive nationalstrength has been recognized by the world, and the influence of China is also rising, despite theeconomic level of our country has been developed rapidly, the agricultural economic incomeoccupies the dominant position, China is still not get rid of the title of agricultural country. Ourcountry has a large population, vast territory and abundant resources, it is rich in agriculturalresources, but the average per capita is low. Agriculture will be affected by various naturalfactors in the development process, disasters will bring great losses to agricultural productionand farmers’ economic benefits, which will seriously affect chinese economic development andsocial stability, so we need to develop agricultural insurance vigorously, in order to promote theability of withstanding disasters, protect agriculture and food security, expand the vital interestsof farmers, improve and perfect the agricultural support protection system of our country.Jilin province is one of the strongest agricultural provinces in China, the sustainable ansteady development of agricultural economy plays a vital role in the stability and developmentof Jilin province, at the same time, as a national policy agricultural insurance experimentprovince, the development of agricultural insurance in Jilin province has high reference value,especially the development of policy agricultural insurance. The purpose of our paper is toscientifically analyze the factors which influence the will of farmers to buy agriculture insuranceand put forward the corresponding proposal by researching the farmers in Jilin province, therebypromoting the development of policy agricultural insurance.In our paper, we make a deep investigation and research on the running condition ofagricultural insurance in Jilin province, and conduct field surveys on the requirement ofagriculture insurance in Jilin province by combining with the related theories both in China andabroad, we systematically analyze the factors which influence the will of farmers to buyagricultural insurance by spss software tools and Logit regression models, then we scientificallyand objectively evaluate the factors which affect farmers’ purchase intention in the developmentof agricultural insurance in Jilin province, and put forward some countermeasures on therestricting factors during the development of agricultural insurance in Jilin province combinedwith the existing problems, the development models and direction of policy agriculturalinsurance in Jilin province are discussed, we solve the various problems existing in policyagricultural insurance in Jilin province by conducting and improving the various systems, thusthe policy agricultural insurance is popularized, therefore the ability of withstanding disasters in Jilin province is improved, the agriculture and food security are guaranteed, so we expand thevital interests of farmers, and realize the purpose of sustainable development.
