In February2012, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other fiveministries jointly issued a marine engineering equipment manufacturing and long-termdevelopment planning, the development objectives of the development plan that, after adecade of efforts to promote China becomes the world’s major marine engineering equipmentmanufacturer. Which focus on building the three industries in the Pearl River Delta and othergathering place, the sales revenue would reach400billion Yuan each industry,2020. Thus itreleases the huge demand for marine engineering and marine products.In this context, this paper takes50,000T Self-propelled Semi-submersible Vesselengineering project construction process as the research object. According to the mechanicaland electrical installation project quality control characteristics, the paper emerges from thequality of the project construction process to proceed. With the fishbone analysiselectromechanical project to identify the factors affecting the quality of the installation, andthen it inducts and analysis quality management problem existed in the process of projects onthe mechanical and electrical installation. Finally, it put forward suggestions for thecompany’s future ship construction projects to improve the program and quality management.
