Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has been developing rapidly, people’slives have been greatly improved, but economic development and livelihood issues ofconflict. People’s living standards greatly improved, but the tension between doctors andpatients, making the Gross National Happiness index decreased, causing the main reasonfor this phenomenon is the Chinese drug costs continue to rise, hold down prices, marketdisorder and other drugs.The development of pharmaceutical industry is closely related tonational life. Whether the price of drug is reasonable, is not only relates to medicine pricesreasonable and the fundamental interests of the health of residents, but also affects theharmony and stability of society. It is a matter of national economy event. To solve theseproblems, the government has introduced a series of price regulation policy to regulatepharmaceutical drug market.From the early days of comprehensive drug price regulation torelax drug price regulation reform and opening up and then in recent years graduallystrengthen drug price regulation measures, we can say that the price of drugs regulationexperienced by tight to loose, and then from loose to tight course, but it have not improvedthe problem of drug’s higher prices.This paper attempts fron drug price regulation theoryand the practice of drug price regulation in china to analyse the problem of what theregulation has.
