Research On The Development Of The China’s Industrial Structure And Economic Growth

Economic growth usually means an increase of country’s per capita income. The pace of economic growth can also reflect a country’s overall level of economic strength, since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has developed with a high speed. Comparing with the past, China is at the different stages of development, according to the macroeconomic data in2013, the Chinese economy’s growth is slowing. But the development of other countries in the world shows that at different stages of economic development, fluctuation in economic growth is very common. Changing in the industrial structure is the key to economic growth. China currently still relies on the second industry to lead economic growth; this industry structure model can not bring new vitality to the economic growth. Nowadays how to adjust the industrial structure and how to achieve steady development of China’s economy is an important issue.This article starts from describing the industrial structure, and then analyzes the current situation of industrial structure and economic development of China. Basing on the domestic and foreign theory of industrial structure, we should better understand the reform of the industrial structure and the process of economic development, in the empirical analysis, I reviews the related concepts of Cobb—Douglas function and its expanded model, according to the related dates of economic growth from1978to2012,I do a quantitative analysis on the relationship between economic development and economic growth of the industrial structure. Finally, I conclude that:the development of the industrial structure has a important role to play in promoting economic growth, the adjustment of industrial structure is a precondition for the further development of China’s economy. And analyze the problems of the currently industrial structure.
