With the expansion of the scale of export trade in our country, the consumptionof energy in all sectors is increasing, which leads to large carbon dioxide emissions inthe export trade. So in this paper, we study the carbon emissions in export trade of ourcountry.Firstly, we calculate the complete carbon emissions intensity and completecarbon emissions intensity in export bye making use of input-output model for theyear of2005,2007and2010. The results showed that in the year of2005,2007and2010complete carbon intensity of China’s export trade shows the tendency ofdecrease year by year, and the export of carbon emissions down after increasing first; In addition, the paper compare China’s export trade carbon emissions with the majortrading partners EU, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Russia, India andSouth Africa, and further analyze carbon emissions in bilateral trade between Chinaand the eight major trading partners. Next, respectively, from the perspective of thecountry and industry sector, verify the existence of our carbon transfer phenomena inour country. The results showed that: From the view of gross, there exists carbonemissions transfer phenomenon between China and eight major trading partners, trading partners transferred the carbon emissions into the country; While, the transferof carbon emissions between our country and the rest of the world is a two-way street, other countries transfer carbon emissions into some of domestic industry, at sametime, transfer carbon emissions out of other industries. On the whole, it’s much morecarbon emissions transferred into rather than out of our country. Then, we use Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index (LMDI) on China’s export tradecarbon emissions factors decomposition analysis, and it can be divided into sc aleeffect, structure effect and technology effect, and the technology effect can be furtherdivided into energy consumption effect and intermediate input effect. The resultsshow that: the scale effect have a positive effect to carbon emissions in export trade, and it is the main reason for the rise of carbon emissions in export. And the structureeffect positively effects on high carbon industry, instead, low carbon industry occurnegative effect; Technical effect negatively effect carbon emission in expo rt andprompts carbon reduction, therein, the energy consumption effect makes a importantcontribution to carbon emissions reduction. Finally, based on the study results the paper puts forward policy suggestions ofrealizing energy conservation and sustainable clean development under thecircumstances of the low carbon economy.
