A Study Of Urban Residents’ Income Distribution Of Tianjin Binhai New Area

The income distribution of urban residents in China is one of the important issues that need to be resolved during the economy construction and social development. On the path of reform and open up, with the rapid development of society and the progress of industry, the income level of resident increased step by step. At the same time, the income gap keeps growing as well, which had led to an inequality of income distribution, as well as the distribution of benefits. Therefore, the income distribution is not only a problem about economy, but also an issue on the healthy development of social and political stability and unity.In this paper, the statistical data from2009to2012of Tianjin Binhai new area was calculated, with a combination of case to case study, the real income gaps among the urban residents were analyzed in details, as well as the reasonable progress for this kind of income gaps was investigated. Three aspects of irrational income gaps were identified in Binhai New Area through data analysis, including the gaps between high and low income groups, different industries and different regions between government organizations and institutions which resulted from the behavior of monopoly. The reasons for the expanding income gaps among the residents were studied quantitatively and qualitatively; the income distribution gaps that caused by a range of social impact were analyzed. Finally, strategies and suggestions from different point of views were proposed based on analytical results with the aim of solving this problem for a healthy and harmonious economy development of Binhai new area as well as the common prosperity of the whole nation.
