Currently, tourism flow is one of popular research points in terms of humangeography. As a significant component, inbound tourism flow has been populargradually; however the connective research between long-term inbound tourism andaviation transportation needs much attention.Based on the discussion of synergic relationship and dynamic mechanismbetween inbound tourism flow and network space evolution of air transportation;according to the relative analysis, regression analysis and gravity model; from thesides of passenger flow correlation, space structure and network joint strength; theauthor deeply analyses the co-evolution rule and area disparities between inboundtourism flow and aviation transportation network in the northwest China, on thebasis of data from2002to2011.The dissertation is made up of six components, and the significant content isfrom chapter three to chapter six. After ample analysis, the conclusions are asfollowing. Firstly, there is natural relationship between inbound tourism flow andaviation transportation network, there is marked connective relationship and evidentsynergistic effect during the process of dynamic evolution. Secondly, the mutualpromotions between inbound tourism flow and aviation passenger flow in thenorthwest area is gradually evident; and degree of coupling between them isinfluenced by other kinds of transportation. Thirdly, the degree of coupling betweenthe dynamic characteristic and trend of their space structure and joint strength ofthe network points is strong as well. Fourthly, the development of inbound tourismflow and aviation transportation network in some provinces of the northwest area ishigh monopoly. However, the level of co-evolution in Shanxi, Ningxia and Qinghai ishigher than Xinjiang and Gansu. Lastly, to gradually improve the access andconvenience of inbound tourism in the northwest area, should constantly developthe huge potential of branch aviation transportation, utilize partial airports as thebackbone node of airline network and establish solid airline network.
