The Present Situation And Development Of The Traceability System Of Pollution-free Vegetables In Zhangpu County

As we all known, bread is staff of life. Food safety, especially the safety of agriculturalproducts, concerns to the life of people, the harmony of society and the unity of the country.However, the expanded consumption in recent years results in the loose administration ofagricultural products’ access to markets. Consequently, there are so many problems aboutagricultural product safety covering production, circulation and consumption. And there are moreand more malignant events caused by poor quality of agricultural products, the abuse of chemicalfertilizer, which not only set off the panic of the major market and consumer groups in thecountry, but also do great damage to the people’s health and property security.It is an urgent project to explore a series of effective measures such as establishing the lawsand regulations about the vegetable production safety, setting standards for the safety detectionabout pollution-free vegetables and the quality and safety certification system etc, to protect thelegitimate rights and interests of consumers, to reduce the quality safety of the vegetableproduction. Especially the agricultural products traceability system can be regarded as a carrierof the detection and the trace of the information about quality and safety of agricultural products.It monitors production, processing, storage and sales of vegetables, which has always beenconsidered as an effective solution by the consumers at home and abroad to achieve the qualityand safety of agricultural products "from farm to table".This paper is to set pollution-free vegetables as analysis object, to take Zhangzhou“Delixin" agriculture co. LTD as an example and to study the quality and safety traceabilitysystem of pollution-free vegetables. Mainly through management, test in the field，pick,packaging, transportation, marketing and so on we can establish detailed records aboutproduction, processing, transportation so as to form the traceability information and input theminto the database. Then we query for information about the vegetables anytime and anywhere.Make sure that the quality and safety of pollution-free vegetables in circulation can be checkedthrough the "identity" to protect the life and property safety of consumers.This paper is the first time to study the feasibility and necessity of the traceability system ofpollution-free vegetables in Zhangpu County. It analyzes and summarizes the traceability system in practice in recent years on the basis of the advanced agricultural products traceability systemat home and abroad. The paper reviews the development of traceability system, puts forward theproblems and advances the countermeasures of traceability system in the future.
