As an important feature of team, cohesion has a significant impact on team decisionespecially investment decisions in enterprise. Foreign scholars study the influence ofcohesion and team performance in military and sports, but the cohesion is closely related toculture, the applicability of the results based on foreign culture in our country is unknown.Although domestic scholars take the lead in the research on the relationship betweencohesion and investment decisions, but the cohesion is regarded as a unidimensionalvariable which lead to divergence among the results. So this paper considers cohesion asrelation cohesion and task cohesion which are the typical two dimensions, and respectivelydiscuss the impact of different types of cohesion on investment efficiency. At the same time,we consider the Nature of feedback of the project in this article, trying to find the differentinfluence of cohesion to investment decisions under different situation.This article adopts between-subjects design in experiment. It researches howtask-cohesion and relational cohesion influence investment decisions from qualitative andquantitative levels, and finds the regulating mechanism of the Nature of feedback. Thestudy found that task cohesion can make team members to keep the rational, and morehelpful to make right decisions, which supports the traditional "expectancy theory", thusimproving the quality of group decision making; But there are difference under differentnature of feedback: when the feedback is positive, task cohesion and interpersonal cohesionhave the same impact on the reinvestment decision making. They are both beneficial toimprove the quality of decision making, that is to say there is no significant differencebetween the influence of task cohesion and interpersonal cohesion to reinvestment decision;But when the nature of feedback is negative, task cohesion is more advantageous toimprove the quality of decision making, while the interpersonal cohesion hampers decisionquality, the investors are more inclined to risk appetite which is in line with the “prospecttheory”. The results show that the achievements from foreign scholars are not applicable inour country except that the result under the negative feedback. The reason is that theexperiment situation in foreign scholars’ and the negative feedback are belonging tonegative information while the positive feedback belongs to the opposite information. Inaddition, we exclude the ceiling effect influence in the experiment.The significance of this study as follows:(1) this paper researches team cohesionbased on Chinese unique cultural background, promoting the localized development ofcohesion in academia. Compared with foreign results, to examine the applicability underour culture, so as to enrich and deepen the relevant theories.(2) The team cohesion isapplied to the investment decision making area different from foreign research; broaden the edge of team cohesion. Draw lessons from foreign results, this paper discusses the effectson investment decision from more micro view, which broke the status quo ofunidimensional variable in our country.(3) Based on the domestic research status, thispaper explicitly consider the nature of feedback in the investment decision-making for thefirst time, researching the different effect mechanism under different situations andavoiding the fuzzy or only research the negative situation in the traditional investmentdecision.
