Income inequality is a basic national condition and is closely related to people’slives, to understand the reasons for its change trend and is a prerequisite for thedevelopment of relevant policies. If a country is too severe income inequality willproduce a series of social and economic problems. For example, hinder economicgrowth and slow down the rate of elimination of poverty, social instability and thusreduce the amount of investment, increased social management cost impact the livesof citizens and the state’s political activities to increase social management costs. Inthe past two decades in the degree of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea,Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the nine countries and regionsparticipating in the deepening of economic globalization, and from theimplementation of the export-oriented economic development strategy obtainedsubstantial benefits. At the same time these countries, income inequality and people’sliving standards and the development of a country’s economic stability is also closelyrelated to the occurrence of a significant change in the difference in nature. In thiscontext we would expect the following questions: First, more income inequality indifferent countries and regions, what changes occur; Second, what is the main reasonfor different countries and regions are changes in income inequality; Third, differentcountries and the reasons for differences in regional income inequality changes occur. This paper mainly studied the above problem.Based on the extensive literature on the possible first comprehensive analysis ofthe existing basic theory and empirical results, describing the reasons and mechanismsof change in a country’s income inequality, and then look for ways to quantify theimpact of each factor, and then through the use of relevant data a multi-linear modelto analyze the influence of different countries and regions relevant elements of thechange in income inequality. Although from a theoretical and empirical analysis of thefactors affecting changes in income inequality is substantially the same, but theregression results show that the main factors significantly affect different countriesand regions, changes in income inequality is not the same, even the same factors ondifferent countries in the opposite direction impact, which resulted in the samecontext of economic globalization in different countries mainly due to differences in income inequality produces changes. Therefore, we believe that income inequality indifferent countries for different reasons change, so in the analysis of incomeinequality must fully consider the impact of economic and political fundamentals. Onthe whole the micro level of income inequality is a problem with people’s lives, people’s living standards it has a significant impact; stability and development at themacro level of income inequality is related to a country. And factors affect incomeinequality lot, and play a role in the mechanism is more complex, there are significantdifferences between countries. Therefore, income inequality is an important issue thatworthy of study and have some relatively difficult problems. This article is for incomeinequality is relatively easy to do a simple study, but also a deeper, more detailedstudy.
