The East Asia Economic Cooperation And Development Direction Of The Research

After many years of development, the East Asian economy has gotten greatprogress, and already stepped on a new historical stage. The place of Asian economyhas gotten a dramatically rise in the world and it also has become an importantpower of the world economy. Under the current economic environment thateconomy situation is still complex and severe and the world economy is unstable anduncertainty rise, the East Asian region has to be more objectively and strategicallyorganized. Thus, the realistic significance of the regional economic of cooperation isoutstanding. Until now, though the Asian countries have developed all kind ofcooperation, the East Asian Community is still in the concept stage, whether theestablishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations or the East Asia area“10+3” conference joined by China, Japan and Korea, which the achievements isonly the primary stage for the establishment of the East Asian Community.Up to now, the concept of East Asian Community, it doesn’t have an identicaland recognized definition. To my way of thinking, the East Asian Community is thatthe countries in the East Asian area gradually set up a comprehensive cooperationand win–win unity, depending on the advantage geographical position andstrengthening the communication between each other through multiple cooperativerelationships. The East Asian Community includes many contents: the first one is theconcept of the East Asian Community is more than a geographical definition, it alsohas more profound meaning, including the cultural connotation and socialdevelopment in the East Asian area. The second one is the East Asian Community isan open area organization which doesn’t have any prejudice whether for thecountries in the East Asian area or out the East Asian area. The third one is now theEast Asian Community is a relatively pertinent concept, and it still needsa long-term development, which is the ultimate goal of the East Asian regionaleconomic cooperation and development. As for the complex situation of all countries in East Asia, the founding of EastAsian Community is still in the primary stage and the construction of communitystill has many obstacles and harries. These obstacles and harries constraints thefounding of the East Asian Community for a long time. Firstly, the rule of the EastAsian regional cooperation is not clear and there are no forming rules for reference.Secondly, the system of the East Asian Community is lacking and there is nocorresponding cooperation system among the East Asian countries. Thirdly, the bigdifferences are among the East Asia countries. Fourthly, the complex historicalsituation is among the East Asia countries. Fifthly, the interference exists in theoutside region force. Generally speaking, these obstacles and barriers represent thedifferent dispute among the member countries in the East Asia region and there isn’tan identical and perfect development way yet.The European regional integration is the most successful area in the globaleconomic integration and thus it will be do great help for the founding of the EastAsian Community through the scientific research and analysis of the experience ofthe European economic integration and selective reference. There is a saying “Byother’s faults, wise men correct their own”; therefore, the founding of the East AsianCommunity will absorb the valuable experience of the European integration.Meanwhile, the East Asian Community has to flexibly use these experience,combining the own characteristics and advantages of each Asia country, makinggood use of the advanced experience and technology of each country and makingsure the appropriate target and suitable way for the East Asia region. The founding ofthe East Asian Community is not a sudden event, even reached by one step; it needsa long process of development. Above all, the East Asian Community is the ultimategoal of the East Asia regional cooperation and the East Asian Community will begradually founded in the exploration and innovation.
