In recent years, the domestic insurance company is developing very rapidly. The competition between the insurance companies is also increasing intensely.In order to strengthen their competitiveness, explore their resources deeply, and make the resources create the biggest benefit, more and more insurance group companies have conducted cross-selling businesses between its subsidiaries. As a representative, the A insurance group set up organizations rapidly and establishes cross-selling operating system to promote the development of cross-selling business. It has achieved impressive achievements on cross-selling. At the same time, there are some aspects where there are still some room for improvement and some data mining tools that can be enriched in the process of conducting cross-selling in the A insurance group. Through the literature research and case studies, this paper summarizes and classifies the cross-selling developing situations in the A insurance industry. And take the representative company as an example, this paper analysis its business conditions, internal and external developing situations and the main problems currently exist. Finally, this paper put forward some corresponding recommendations on the internal problems, and gives data mining methods such as cluster analysis, correlation analysis and its simulations as one way to analysis cross-selling data.
