The Development And Formation Of Entrepreneurial Team And Its Influence On The Industrialization In Traditional Agricultural Areas

Taking the industrial revolution in the second half of the18thcentury as a starting point, the globalworld begins the social transformation from the traditional agricultural civilization to modern industrialcivilization. While the beginning of the social transformation of China’s modernization is the reform andopening up in the second half of19thcentury. Represented by the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze Delta, thecoastal regions of China first began to develop industry in the countryside by drawing lessons from thesuccessful experience of the West, and realized the rapid development of industrialization and theprosperity of economy under the role of many entrepreneurs. However, the industrialization developmentof the traditional agricultural areas inland still lags behind, which becomes one of the current obstacles tothe social transformation of China’s modernization. The research on the economic characteristics of thetraditional agricultural areas found that, although these areas are remote and lack of resources, anendogenous entrepreneur team has laid a certain foundation for the industrial development, whichpromoted the development of the industrialization to some extent. And that is similar to the successfulexperience of Yangtze Delta and Pearl River Delta, while which have more significantly powerfulentrepreneur teams. In order to explore the reason why the entrepreneur team is weaker in the traditionalagricultural areas, this paper selected entrepreneurs owning the property rights of the enterprises as theresearch object, without leaders of the state-owned enterprises. The outside research environment is thetraditional agricultural areas. Under which, this paper will study that how the geographical factors of thetraditional agricultural areas affects the development and formation of entrepreneur team. And the influenceof entrepreneur team on the process of industrialization in this region will be analyzed, too.As a special kind of production factors, entrepreneur got the attention from some researchers since the17thcentury. As the outbreak of the industrial revolution, the promotion influence on the development ofenterprises and industrialization was gradually realized. That’s why the research emphasis gradually shiftfrom entrepreneur individual to the interactive relationship between entrepreneur and the development ofeconomy and society. Many economists researched entrepreneur from varied perspective including themeaning, function, formation mechanism and the effects on economic growth, laid a theoretical foundationto the research on entrepreneurs in this paper. At the same time, as the development trend of the global world, industrialization gained extensive attention by the academia, and has been studied from itsconnotation, the measure multiple aspects, which also provides a theoretical support to the research of theindustrialization of the traditional agricultural areas in this paper.The study on the development and formation of entrepreneur team involves three key subjects,including entrepreneur, entrepreneur team and the growth of entrepreneur. From the perspective ofindividual research, this article first studies the growth mechanism of a individual entrepreneur, and findsout that becoming an entrepreneur is the outcome of the process of entrepreneur’s growth that oneindividual finds and grasps the growth opportunities actively, so as to stimulates the growth motive, and usethe growth ability and resources to operating as an entrepreneur, under the influence of the exogenous andendogenous factors. According to this judgment, this article divided the factors affecting the entrepreneur’sgrowth mechanism involved in the existing literature into individual factors and the environmental factorsfrom two different angles, and analyzed the influence on the entrepreneur’s growth mechanism of eachfactors. Integrated impact on the growth process of entrepreneur, this paper works out the mechanismmodel of the entrepreneur’s growth.For the study on the influence of the entrepreneur team on the industrialization of the traditionalagricultural areas, there are varied key contents involved including “traditional agricultural areas”,“industrialization” and “the impact on industrialization from entrepreneurs”, etc. According to thedefinition of the traditional agricultural areas by Professor Geng Mingzhai, this paper selects HenanProvince as the representative region for research, and uses the measure methods of the industrializationlevel conducted by economists, including Hoffman, Chenery, Petty and Crick, on this region. It turns outthat the industrialization development in this region characterized by unreasonable industrial structure,backward economic development level and large primary industry employment proportion. Then, throughthe analysis on the impact of entrepreneur’s human capital and social capital on enterprise development, aswell as the influence of the enterprise development on the development of the industrialization, this papersummarizes the influence on industrialization of entrepreneur is realized by the transmission mechanism“entrepreneurs-enterprise–industrialization”, which proves that entrepreneurs have promotional impacton regional industrialization level.In order to promote the construction of entrepreneur team in the traditional agricultural areas, this paper established a entrepreneur team growth model. In the model, the growth of entrepreneur team isdecided by entrepreneur’s quality function and quantity function, while the quality of entrepreneur isdecided by endogenous and exogenous factors, and the quantity of entrepreneur is decided by individualand environmental factors. Different function relation exists between the dependent variable andindependent variable. By put the three function expression simultaneously, this paper build up theentrepreneur team growth model. In the framework of this model, through the analysis on the elements ofthe traditional agricultural areas that have significant influence on entrepreneur growth, this article finds outthe influence and influence mechanism of the traditional agricultural areas’ institutional and culturalcharacteristics, economic and market features and demographic characteristics on the development andformation of the entrepreneur team, which point out the direction of the entrepreneur team building in thetraditional agricultural areas.
