Research On The Development Strategy Of Jinzhou Port Ore Transport

Jinzhou Port is the most convenient access to the sea in the Midwest of Jilin province and Heilongjiang province, the north part of North China, the east part of Inner Mongolia and Siberia of Russia. It’s also the important northern regional ports in Liaoning province and the fully open international port in the northwest coastline of China’s Bohai. With the increasingly closed world trade, as the cargo consolidation centre, the function of the port has diversified recently. Especially the ideally located port, it has become increasingly significant in the world trade. At present, with the rapid development of iron and steel industry, Jinzhou transports a large number of imported ore, iron and steel in northeast China, supports the development of the iron and steel enterprises, and it also bring certain economic benefits itself. Therefore, the study of the development strategy of Jinzhou ore transport becomes an important task.In this paper, we put the development strategy of Jinzhou ore transport as the main object of study, through using basic knowledge of port ore transport, doing research on its transport and market current situation and using PEST analysis and SWOT analysis to analyze the internal and external environment of Jinzhou ore transport. Then, we forecast the ore throughput over the next ten years of Jinzhou Port with Grey Model. At last, aimed at the main problems of the Jinzhou ore transport, we put forward corresponding development strategy.
