Study On Development Strategy Of ShanDong Shitong CO., Ltd

In this paper, around the development venation of ShanDong ShiTong Co., Ltd(SDST for short) and the variations of inside and outside environment factors, thedevelopment strategy for SDST was studied by the methods of uniting theory withpractice as well as combining the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Firstly, the range of the Study on development strategy for SDST was definedand the basic train of thought in studying of this paper was put forward. Secondly,social environment was analyzed by using the PEST model form the aspects of policy,laws and regulations, economy, capital, social, cultures, technology and competitivesituation. Industrial environment was analyzed by using the five factors model formthe aspects of potential incomers, threaten from substitution, the capability of thebuyers making price and the suppliers abating price, and the present competitiveforces in the industry. The industry current situation and characters were distinct.Enterprise inside condition was analyzed from the aspects of enterprise qualityresource state, financial position, product marketing and management organization.Inside and outside factors were appraised by means of IFE and EFE matrixesrespectively. With the help of SWOT matrix, strategy associations were performedconsidering the opportunities and the threaten from outside environment and insidesuperiority and inferiority of SDST, so the alternative schemes of the developmentstrategy for SDST are produced, and evaluations were performed by the way ofQSPM (quantity, strategy, plan, matrix) model. Finally, the SDST developmentstrategy choices were formed and the specific measures were worked out.
