The Research On Collaborative Innovation And Knowledge Spillovers Between Multinationals And Chinese Innovation Agency

In recent years, multinational and indigenous innovation agency cooperation and innovation trend is increasingly evident. In the context of R&D globalization and open innovation, any body can not completely rely on its own innovative R&D resources to perform technological innovation. To study the impact of collaborative innovation on the Chinese innovation agencies, knowledge spillover from multinational companies to Chinese innovation agencies, the main study completed the following aspects:1) Background and development status of cooperative innovation. This paper summarizes the research and development of Chinese multinational innovation and cooperation mechanism of the three backgrounds, both multinational R&D globalization and open innovation and reverse innovation and discovery of innovative cooperation with multinational organizations innovate, expand areas of cooperation increasingly cooperation more diverse motives.2) Co-drivers of innovation. Multinational companies and local universities, research institutions cooperate in order to get more universities and research institutions’basic research resources, cutting-edge technology to track and obtain high-quality university research personnel, and cooperation with local enterprises are more numerous in order to understand local market information, customer resources and reduce the risk to develop independent research and development.3) The spatial distribution of cooperative innovation. Increasing cooperation in multinational companies in China R&D funding in the background, the trend of changes in space research and development cooperation funds mainly for the spatial dimension of widening, deepening and accelerating to catch up with the core region of the Midwest. In this paper, three-year span of time as a comparison, in2006,2009and2012, the spatial pattern of multinational and Chinese universities and research institutions in collaborative R&D funding to further analyze changes in trends in collaborative R&D funding for multinationals in China, distributed through contrast.4) Cooperative innovation knowledge spillovers. This article summarizes the impact of multinational R&D cooperation with Chinese institutions of local innovation enterprise knowledge spillovers mechanisms and absorptive capacity of local enterprises for knowledge spillovers. On the basis of the establishment of a multiple regression model and into the time series data were analyzed separately to test direct cooperation innovation knowledge spillovers, indirect knowledge spillovers and absorptive capacity of local institutions impact on knowledge spillovers. The empirical results show that both the direct or indirect knowledge spillovers in the process, the absorptive capacity of local institutions have played a significant influence.
