Research On The Knowledge Spillovers Mechanism Of Zhejiang Innovation Resource Integration Network

As the trend of globalization deepens, innovation resource integration (IRI)has presented itself all over the world, many competitive industries had adopted the IRI network model. This new model brings strong energy to regional economic development and plays an important role in the region economic development. IRI network model has got excellent performance in Zhejiang province after the open and reform policy, the industry, economic and social environment which facilitate IRI is by and large established. IRI network model has been the engine of Zhejiang economy.Though IRI network model can promote regional economic development and enterprises' competitiveness, it won't work if it has no way to keep competitive advantage and persistent development. We have found that the knowledge spillovers is one of the important powers to enhance the competitive advantage of the IRI, the knowledge spillovers makes the IRI upgrade and develop persistently. Thus the dissertation will research deeply on the knowledge spillovers mechanism of Zhejiang IRI network. Zhejiang economy has a strong connection with international trade development, so we put our research focus on the knowledge spillovers transfer mechanism of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and the strategic alliance between Multinational Company (MNC).The dissertation constructs the study framework for the knowledge spillovers mechanism of Zhejiang IRI network based on a series of theories, such as knowledge management, International trade,regional economic, innovational system etc. Firstly, the author has a retrospect on the related theories, concludes and defines the factor to be studied; Secondly, the paper has a research on the knowledge spillovers conduction mechanism of IRI network, and give a dialectic explanation of the knowledge spillovers effectiveness; Thirdly, the author found four factors which influence the effectiveness of knowledge spillovers, the factors are the knowledge quality, knowledge supplier quality , knowledge receiver quality and the IRI network quality. Finally, according to the theory of the anterior chapters and result of the questionnaires from Hangzhou east park of software, the author use Structural Equation Modeling to analyse the infection factor of knowledge spillovers. Base on the theoretical framework and empirical findings, the author concludes some suggestions for policy makers.
