The Study Of Moderate Scale Of China’s Pig Breeding

Pork is China’s major meat products, accounting for more than60%of total meat consumption, the impact on the healthy development of the national economy hog industry is significant. At present, China is entering the pig industry to accelerate the transition period, on the one hand, business technology and management advantages, to participate in hog production, but its development constraints facing environmental pollution and large-scale immunization difficulties brought about; same time, urbanization industrialization oriented labor force increased, backyard farmers exit the obvious, rural pig production challenges facing labor shortages, the original farmers escalate. How to determine the appropriate scale, and gradually becomes necessary and urgent.For the modest scale of China’s pig breeding, the paper was solved in two ways, namely farming profits as influencing factors moderate scale pig farming enterprise, as well as moderate scale farmers under the conditions of the rural labor force transfer pig farming. To this end a three-part research, one from the perspective of the structure of production and production status of the pig industry is analyzed on China’s pig industry; second is to build Douglas production function, a modest scale pig farming enterprise profits from the optimal angle analysis; Third, through field surveys, from the comparative income, labor productivity, production data acquisition and production workers in four areas such as enthusiasm for solving labor force under conditions of moderate scale pig farming households, and according to the appropriate scale to solve the analysis of different scale segment pig farms (households) in the production and operation analysis.The study found that one through situation analysis, China’s hog production dwindling regional concentration, degree of the scale continues to increase, the size of hog production is mainly farmers and small-scale farming enterprise scale field farming, while the whole hog development industry is facing many problems; Second, by analyzing the optimal angle of profit, sow modest scale of China’s entrepreneurial pig breeding herds of about438, about the size of hog slaughter5400; Third, through the questionnaire data, in the labor force conditions, such as income from the comparative analysis of the four areas, the slaughter of about500pig farming as a moderate-scale farmers, and the simple structure of the scale size of the labor force segment where, over the Easy access to funds, waste and sewage treatment and access to land other than reflect the advantages of scale.For findings, we propose policy recommendations in four areas:First, consider the profits from the optimal angle, determined about438sow herds, slaughter pigs5400as a modest scale of China’s pig breeding enterprise, and the second is to deal with transfer of rural labor, income from the comparative analysis to determine the slaughter of about500moderate scale pig farming for farmers; Third, efforts to address market volatility and instability issues breeding efficiency of each segment of the scale pig farming were encountered; fourth is environmental protection, funding and appropriate scale pig farming land issues faced by farmers for special solved.
