| Family enterprise or pan-family enterprise, which plays an important role in theworld economy, exists widely both in developed countries and developing countries.Because of the special history culture and social reality, the family enterprise inChina has its own advantages and disadvantages. With the reforming and opening uppolicy conducted, the planned economy system turns gradually into marketeconomic system, which has brought a huge opportunity for the developing of thefamily enterprise. Having struggled for more than30years, the family enterprise isexpected to meet its first peak of the inheritance in the near future, which is also animportant turning point for the survival and development of the family enterprise.By analyzing systematically the theoretical foundation and empirical model ofthe succession theory of the family enterprise abroad and tracking deeply the frontiertrends of the succession area of the family enterprise in China, the paper analyses theresults from the scholars at home and abroad on the succession problem of thefamily enterprise. The inheritance of the ownership and management right andcontrol right is quite essential to the development of the enterprise, while theinheritance problem is quite essential to the development of the family enterprise.Therefore, based on life cycle theory, behavior theory and management theory, usingthe theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, together with the qualitative analysisand quantitative analysis, the paper puts forward the current status, the model and thesuccess standard of the enterprise in China. Besides, the paper sums up theinfluential factors of the family enterprise in China from micro and macro angle.Through interviews and questionnaires,35observation variables are transformedinto five main factors with the help of factor analysis: relationship quality factor,replacement factor, incumbent factor, institutional factor and external environmentalfactor. The countermeasures are searched for to solve the problem by analyzing allthe factors.Realizing the sustainable development of the family enterprise is a systematic project. It is of great significance to analyze the main influential factors in theprocess of the intergenerational inheritance and to lead the family enterprise to breakthrough the constraints. Only in this way can the relationship between creator andthe successor be harmonized and so does other relationship in family enterprise.Therefore the sustainable development of the family enterprise can be expected afterthe successful succession. |
