In recent years, China vigorously implemented the strategy of rejuvenating thecountry, and continuously improved the independent innovation capability. We will deepenreform and continue to promote technological innovation to the main businesstransformation. Through the development and implementation of all relevant policies toeffectively support enterprises to increase R&D investment, to strengthen the independentinnovation capability of enterprises and the promotion of transformation from a largemanufacturing to a power manufacturing. By guiding and encouraging scientific researchinstitutions of higher learning and research institutes to provide related services toenterprises in technological innovation and to better achieve a combination of research anduse. To enhance innovation capability and improve the modern industrial system, and toenhance the technology for the main battlefield of economic construction, servicedevelopment mode support capabilities. Fully optimized drive technology innovation forindustrial action to upgrade and strengthen the dominant position of enterprises intechnological innovation, and guide capital, talent, technology and other innovativeresources into enterprises. Manufacturing is the backbone to promote China’s economicdevelopment, occupies a pivotal position in the national economy, which makes themanufacturing sector is improving throughout the focus of independent innovationcapability.Based on the perspective of enterprise life cycle, explore the relationship betweentechnological innovation capability and enterprise performance. Through theory analysisand interpretation of literature, based on the different stages of their business life cyclecharacteristics, proposed assumptions which is the relationship between technologicalinnovation capability and enterprise performance under different stages of enterprise lifecycle. In this study, the listed company of China’s manufacturing industry as the researchobject, through1235listed companies in China’s manufacturing data integrity afterscreening2012annual financial data as the study sample, using a combination of cash flowmethod to distinguish the corporate life cycle, and using the proportion of R&D staff, theproportion of undergraduate and above, R&D intensity as well as the ratio of net assets tothe new evaluation indicators in four areas of enterprise technology innovation, andthrough factor analysis method to determine the index weights, obtain the indicator ofcomprehensive technological innovation. Using SPSS20.0statistical analysis software forthe processed data to describe the statistical analysis, independent samples T-test, multiplelinear regression analysis, test the hypotheses of this paper. The study concluded that: first of all, in the baby stage, there is no significant positiveimpact on its technical innovation capability exists on the enterprise performance.Secondly, in the growth stage, the technical innovation capabilities have a significantpositive impact on the enterprise performance. China Listed Companies. Thirdly, there is asignificant positive correlation between technological innovation capability and itsperformance in the mature stage. Fourthly, in a recession, there is no correlation betweenits technical innovation capabilities and enterprise performance. Finally, according to theresearch findings, summarized the conclusions of this paper, put forward relevant policysuggestions, analyzed the disadvantage of this text, and expressed the outlook for thefuture research.
