Private Banking is a special bank service, which is aiming at providing service for wealthy about the personal property investment and management. Due to the400years development, Private Banking became an important part of the personal property investment and management in Europe and America and other developed countries. Though the Private Banking of Commercial Bank established not longer, it showed a strong momentum of develop. To some extent, the Private Banking begins to take some shape in our country for the almost seven year’s development. The market occupancy of Private Banking of Commercial Bank almost approaches to90%.In this study, several aspects have been done as shown below:First, collect the Private Banking information materials, and elaborately discussed the definition, characteristic and content of Private Banking.Second, with the foundation of economic conditions and the characteristics of the wealth, we discussed the development status and the weakness of Private Banking of Commercial Bank in the external environment and the internal competitiveness. And then propose the approaches to the problems of the development of the Private Banking. Such as, proposing mixed operation, relaxing theory regulation and completing relevant laws. At the same time, the Commercial Bank should improve the ability of risk management, production innovation, and the quality of service, and then carry out precise marketing strategy and extend overseas market.Last, analysis the development of Private Banking of China Construction Bank, and then do some suggestion.
