Research On The Relationship Between Population Mobility And Economic Growth Poles In Xinjiang

Migration is a unique phenomenon after the the household registration system torelax. Population movements scale and the frequency to increase since the reform andopening, and gradually developed into a social norm. Studying population movementshave theoretical and practical significance to the community.Xinjiang is rich in resources, but the development is lagging behind. Countrieshave made great western development policies and counterpart supports in Xinjiang,and that will increase the scale of population movements.There is an internalimbalance of economic growth point in Xinjiang.,so how to play the leading role inthe economic growth of population mobility has become an important part of thisstudy.This article briefly discusses the impact of the reform and opening to thecharacteristics of Xinjiang’s flow population, and the structure of populationmovements in Xinjiang’s economy, including the floating population age structure,educational structure, occupational structure that can have different effects oneconomic growth. Migration correlated with the industrial structure by regressionanalysis. Summarize that the role of migrants in economic growth by gray correlationanalysis.Growth pole has two effects: the polarization effect and diffusion effect.Polarization effect works through the center of the region using their own advantagesto attract factors of production, labor, capital, technology from the surrounding areasand other areas, so the center can promote economic progress and achieve scalepopulation. Diffusion effect work through the central factor of production includingpole of labor, capital, technology flow to the surrounding area, so the surroundingareas will promote economic growth. Therefore, the diffusion effect narrowed the gapof economic disparities between growth pole and the surrounding area.This article refers to results of the scholars research, and analysis the population growth on basis of polarization effect and diffusion effect. This shows that populationmobility and growth poles influence of each other.This article concludes by raisingthe quality of the floating population in Xinjiang to promote the development ofrelated economic growth point.Policy recommendations to improve the social statusof the floating population, the relevant departments for services to support the work,the introduction of high-quality personnel, so as to promote the development ofXinjiang growth pole.
