With the development of the knowledge economy and information society, IT industry has made tremendous development, and plays an increasingly important role in the national economy. IT industry has a high degree of dependence on knowledge and information and thus knowledge workers who own relative knowledge and information become a source of companies competitive advantage. IT enterprise knowledge workers have higher job autonomy, high achievement motivation, more independent, fruits of labor high-value but difficult to measure, loyalty to profession above loyalty to the organization degrees and other characteristics, making it more sensitive to the psychological contract. And many studies have shown that psychological contract of knowledge workers in the enterprise through employees’ organizational commitment or other factors to influence their engagement. Therefore, to explore how to measure IT enterprise know ledge-based employees’ psychological contract and engagement degrees, and how their psychological contract affects their engagement, how to take measures about psychological contract to influence the engagement and other problems are very necessary.From the perspective of psychological contract, this paper studies its influence on the IT enterprise knowledge staff engagement. Based on review of relevant psychological contract theory, engagement theory, divide IT enterprise knowledge workers psychological contract into three dimensions:the trade latitude, the relationship latitude, the team latitude; engagement into three dimensions:vigor, dedication, absorption. Then construct the model and hypotheses accordingly.On the dimension of the operational variables are defined, design the questionnaire based on previous research, through the small sample survey design finally determine research questionnaire. Then use questionnaire survey conducted empirical research, deal with the measured data and analysis found that our country IT enterprise knowledge staffs degree of psychological contract and professional level is not high; Part of the personal traits and working background on the IT enterprise knowledge staffs psychological contract and professional degree of latitude has significant difference; Finally the empirical test is to ask nine hypotheses of the communist party of China has eight hypotheses verified, results show that the hypothesis model has been proved on the whole.The innovation of this study mainly include:(1) The research content of innovation. This study from the perspective of individual employees, taking the psychological contract of engagement as a outcome variables instead of the antecedent variable before, build a model which shows the relationship between IT enterprise staffs psychological contract and employee engagement, and using LISREL software and the structural equation model to verify the model.(2) The object of study innovation. This research breaks through the differences among enterprise employees in different industries, and limits among different types of work, select special group-IT enterprise knowledge staff as the research object, using SPSS software to compare the average data and using single factor analysis of variance to study the level of psychological contract and engagement.
