Since china joined WTO, the reform of our country’s economic systemis going on, including the reform of electric power enterprise. There havetaken place many changes in Stated-owned power generation companies,including structure of the ownership, the organization form, and operationalmechanism, etc. With the deepening of the form process and marketizationcontinuously strengthen, the problems of Stated-owned power generationenterprises management mechanism is also emerged gradually. On theseproblems, the problem of brain drain and employees performance are mostapparent, which cause great loss to the enterprise. Datang Leiyang powerplant is also has this problem.To begin with, the paper overview the background and significance ofincentive mechanism optimize of Datang Leiyang power plant. The authordescribed the domestic and foreign research on incentive and the relatedtheory of incentive. Then, the situation and employee satisfaction ofincentive mechanism of Datang Leiyang power plant were analyzed fromthree main aspects: pay system, performance appraisal and the employeeslearning and growth. The purpose is to identify the problem of employees incentive situation of Datang Leiyang power plant and to conduct analysisdeeply. The last, the author make a re-optimization and design for theexisting incentive mechanism from the aspect of corporate strategy, paysystem, performance appraisal and the employees learning and growth so asto establish a scientific and efficient incentive mechanism. The purpose is toimprove staff performance and motivation, and to further improve the levelof human resource management and competitiveness of the power plant. Inorder to carry out the optimization plan smoothly, the author also putforwarded a series of supporting measures.
