Beginning from the necessity and the requirement of conditional development of modernChina electric power economic system reformation and the requirement of enterpriseinstitution completion to project post evaluation, the paper first explained the general theoryand method of post evaluation, then in view of the feature of electric power project, itanalyzed the process, contents and methods of the post evaluation of power project. The twoparts of the power project post evaluation, production management and financial benefit,were explained particularly. At last the study of production management and financial benefitpost evaluation of the second phrase construction of Datang Leiyang Power Plant was made.It summarizes the experiences of the second phrase project of Datang Leiyang PowerPlant and reveals the problem of the management through the post evaluation. The idea of ithas practical value and can provide reference for making decisions on future projects.
