The Factors Of Regional Disparities Of Per Capita Net Income Of Chinese Rural Residents

Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has achieved remarkable results. But along with rapid economic growth, a number of structural problems in the economic development have been accumulated over and gradually highlighted. The regional inequality in income of rural residents was especially prominent. China’s rural population has accounted for a majority, and rural economy’s balanceable and healthy development has already become the most important factor to the whole country’s sustainable economic development and social stability. Therefore, we need to give this issue in-depth research and analysis. By the means of the study, we can find the practical reform measures to achieve the great goal of "building a harmonious society".In this paper, I use property rights system as a starting point. Focuses on the system of property rights to land. The purpose is to provide the system of property rights which is a new perspective to observe regional inequality in rural residents’ income. We will discuss the changes in rural land systems and the impact on farmers’income from these three areas.Then we select some inequality metrics.First an axiomatic framework is given to evaluate the measurement of inequality. On mis basis, the Theil index will be the metrics of income gap between rural residents. The next regional disparities of income derived by calculating the calendar. We found from between1988-2005, the income gap is widening;But between2006to2012, the income gap has a significant decrease.The empirical part of the paper established a panel data model to identify factors that affect the income gap. Between1988-2005to establish a panel model, and between2006-2012to establish the other panel model. Following the income gap between farmers come under different institutional factors was got by the adoption of anti-historical measurement method.Finally,we evaluate the actual situation of China’s rural areas and the previous analysis. Further more, we presented a few recommendations to reducing the income gap between rural.
