Traditional Chinese medicine industry was regarded as the country’s strategic industrylisting into national economic development program. Supporting the continuous developmentof this industry becomes the importance of the new stage in traditional Chinese medicine.Exploring the operation law, constructing developing pattern, and the appropriate policymaking will promote the health development in this industry, meanwhile, playing crucial rolein stimulating economic growth. In this study, by considering the issue of this industry in andout of China, the industry in Longxi Village was taken as the research object. Qualitativeanalysis, grey correlation degree analysis (GCDA), and multiple linear regression analysiswere employed, to exam main factors on impacting the development of Longxi traditionalChinese medicine industry. Results are listed as follow:1. Analysis was conducted based on aspects of agriculture, industry and community, toevaluate and analyze the issue of the development in traditional Chinese medicine. Sevenfactors (planting output, rural per capita net income, processing total value, storage capacity,sum of business transactions, share in domestic market, and its amount of investment, etc.)were taken to quantitative analyze the main factor effected on traditional Chinese medicineindustry development in Longxi Village. The result showed that the factors effected on thisindustry’s development were (from strong to weak): planting output> processing totalvalue> sum of business transactions> amount of investment> share in domestic market>storage capacity> rural per capita net income.2. By establishing multiple linear regression equation on traditional Chinese medicineindustry development in Longxi Village, the variation trend of developing rate in thisindustry showed the consistence to the planting output, without considering other factors. Thedeveloping rate changed0.076unit when total planting output changed1unit. Based on theverification of the equation, the explanatory ability in the pattern Y=86.128+0.076X1+onLongxi traditional Chinese medicine reached90.7%. 3. Grey relational analysis and multivariate regression analysis indicated that continuousamplifying cultivated areas, increasing production, regionalization and centralization onspecies seedling propagation mainly stimulate the increasing on total production of traditionalChinese medicine in Longxi Village at present.
